Come and discover Palermo

The house is located in the heart of Borgo Vecchio, a quaint and folkloric popular neighborhood among the oldest in Palermo, close to the city center.

In fact, it is only 800 meters from Via Ruggero Settimo and Piazza Castelnuovo where the Politeama theater is located.
But it is also close to the historic center, the Massimo theater and Via Maqueda, the beginning of the historic center, are about a 15-minute walk away.

About 500 meters away from the house, there is Via Della Libertà from where several buses pass and where there is also the femata of the bus to go to the airport, more precisely at the corner with Piazza Ruggero Settimo.
About 300 meters away is Piazza Don Luigi Sturzo, where there is a bus stop for the buses that go to the famous and beautiful Mondello beach where you can, in warm weather, have a nice swim and eat in the seaside village, but it is pleasant to visit even in winter.

The entrance to the port, so you can take ferries to Naples, Cagliari and Genoa and the hydrofoil to the island of Ustica and the Aeolian Islands, is about 500 meters away.
At 1,300 meters is the historic Capo folk market, where one can "immerse" oneself in the colors and smells of the food and the folklore of the vendors who banish their wares.
About 1,100 meters away is the beautiful Villino Florio, on Viale Regina Margherita, designed by Architect Ernesto Basile for the famous and important Florio family, with its mix of styles, the architect's homage to the personality of Vincenzo Florio.
In the neighborhood are several businesses, grocery stores, and about a 10-minute walk away a supermarket, Carrefour, open 24 hours a day, even on Sundays.
